Institute of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants (IOMP) is the only scientific unit in the country whose object of research is ornamental plants.
MISSION
Institute of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants – Sofia is oriented towards scientific research and applied activity in the field of floricultural science.
VISION
IOMP is a research and educational institution that constantly builds and develops its scientific potential, helps in the study, preservation and creation of new genetic diversity of ornamental, floral and medicinal species.
EDUCATION
At the IOMP-Sofia, has doctoral accreditation program for training doctoral students in the “Ornamental Plants” program.
