The scientific and experimental base is a structural unit of the Institute of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants for carrying out scientific research, experimental and accompanying production activities in the field of ornamental and medicinal plants. It includes:

1. Open areas for experiments, collections, demonstration plantings of annual and perennial flowers and for implementation activities;
2. Steel-glass greenhouse for conducting research activities with flower species, for demonstration plantings and for implementation activities;
3. Greenhouse areas for growing potted plants and shrubs;
4. Adaptation greenhouse for in vitro cultivation of microplants.
