Department of Breeding, Technology and Genetic Resources
The scientific department is a primary unit of the institute within the meaning of § 1. item 6 of the Additional Provisions of the Act on the Development of the Academic Staff in the Republic of Bulgaria (published in the State Gazette, No. 38 of May 21, 2010, amended and supplemented in the State Gazette, No. 30 of April 3, 2018). The Institute of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants has one scientific department “Breeding, Technologies and Genetic Resources”. The department organizes and implements scientific research and educational activities in one or a group of related scientific specialties.
